Springtail (Invertebrate) Supersoil

Our Springtail Supersoil can be used as a base for raising the highest level invertebrates and as a bedding in your favorite bioactive terrarium/vivarium.

We recommend using the Springtail Supersoil in your bioactive containers or springtail cultures as a starting media as it provides a good source of food, moisture retention and structure that springtails thrive on.

This soil blend works amazing and we use it exclusively for breeding and keeping the following springtail species:

1. Red Springtails (Lobella)
2. Florida Orange Springtails (Neanura growae)
3. Orange Springtails (Yuukianura aphoruroides)
4. Giant Silver Bullet Springtails (Pogonognathellus dubius)
5. Globular Cave Springtails (Arrhopalites caecus)
6. Quicksilver Springtails (Tomocerus vulgaris)
7. Woolly Mammoth Springtails (Orchisella villosa)

Storage: We store our Invertebrate Flake Soil Blend substrate frozen and recommend storing it in a freezer to avoid unwanted soil organisms from materializing in the soil.
