Springtail Calcium Clay
Springtail Calcium Clay
Our Springtail Calcium Clay powder is a perfect blend of organic clays that will provide supplemental calcium to your Springtails to ensure they're thriving in their Bioactive enclosure or culture.
1 Pound makes roughly 5-7 springtail cultures in 6oz or 8oz cups
To Mix: 2 parts clay to 1 part water
When mixed with water, this clay creates an ideal rearing bed because it allows the springtails to dig and eat away (creating more surface area for rearing) while also providing your springtails with Calcium which is essential for long-term health and reproduction in springtails. Further, when reared on Calcium Bearing Clay, springtails effectively will "gut-load" and provide more nutritional content for your small insectivores, like frogs.
