Blue Podura Springtails (Proisotoma minuta)
Blue Podura Springtails (Proisotoma minuta)
These tiny, light-blue shaded springtails are an excellent addition to any Bio-active for their ferocious appetite and fast reproduction rates. They're very cool to watch in a culture because of the way they stack their eggs - the egg stacks are actually much bigger than the springtails and are sometimes confused for left over food.
Blue Podura cultures come in a 2oz clear container with calcium bearing clay substrate.
The container and substrate that these come in can also be used for culturing them long-term.
Every order includes a MI Beneficials custom 3" vinyl Blue Podura sticker!
