Size

Originating from Thailand, these beautiful red springtails thrive in warm and humid environments and do best in soil based substrate, rather than calcium bearing clay.

Since they grow to be big and colorful, they make an excellent source of food for smaller species like dart frogs.

All size cultures come packaged in a 2oz clear container with special Springtail soil substrate.

Every order includes a MI Beneficials, custom vinyl Thai Red Springtail sticker!

Ideal Conditions: 

75-85 degrees Fahrenheit

Cold Temperature Shipping Conditions in Effect:

To ensure there are no issues, we will hold shipments when destination temperatures are below 20 degrees as daytime highs.

All living organisms orders ship with necessary heat and phase packs to ensure lively delivery.

Overnight, UPS Ground and 2-Day Air orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY. Order cutoff is 9am EST (6am PST) on Tuesday. All orders received after this will ship the following Monday.

Application Recommendation: Simply pour them into your desired substrate and tap container.

  4. Giant Silver Bullet Springtails (Pogonognathellus dubius)
  5. Globular Cave Springtails (Arrhopalites caecus)
  6. Quicksilver Springtails (Tomocerus vulgaris)

Storage

Cultures should be stored between 65 and 82 degrees Farenheit
